Prologue

...The Dwarf, Skaven, and City Elf had their conversation interrupted when a Human entered the room. Perhaps more notably, he dragged in behind him a beaten and naked man in a rubber mask! An uncomfortable moment of silence passed across the group, as the newcomer looked around and seemed very pleased, ignoring the various looks of disgust, dismay, and vague disinterest from the various parties.

"Nice to have you all here. Shall we start?" Without waiting for answers he passed some papers out to the others. "As you can see from these numbers, a joint tournament series would be beneficial to all of our leagues."

"Skrrrrrk! We know the numbers but what is in for us?" the Skaven asked. "Excuse me?" The Skaven smiled, "Let me frame my question differently. Don't you think that an organization like B.B.A.T.T.L. needs a board responsible for supervising the tournaments? A well paid board of course, as they are really important. Skrrrrrk!"

He passed his own papers around. "I made my own calculations. As you can see, there will still be enough money for the leagues."

The Dwarf, Elf, and Human studied the last papers. The Elf quietly breathed an incantation over the papers laid out before her and smiled as their meaning and depth unfolded before her elven eyes. Meanwhile, the Dwarf rolled his thick-browed eyes at the elf with a muttered "Hrumph," and actually read the written words, already scribbling some numbers on his own paper, furiously calculating his organization's share.

After some minutes the men and the lady looked at each other and nodded approvingly. "Looks like we have a deal," the Human said.

"Aye."

"Skrrrrk."

"Then we're agreed."

About B.B.A.T.T.L.

The B.B.A.T.T.L. Tournament Circuit creates opportunities to play in tournaments of different leagues with the same team. This gives teams flexibility to take breaks if needed or to join another tournament as soon as they get eliminated from their current one. As many of the events are TV capped, there's no pressure to keep up with other teams - you'll always have the option of playing others at a similar stage of development, even if you're away from the game for months at a time. It should also be great for exciting and funny team stories. Please post here or PM me, if you have any questions. We are also interested to get more leagues involved in this tournament series. Every league commissioner is welcome to contact krampus, jon or thegloater regarding joining B.B.A.T.T.L.

New teams

New teams can be created for any tournament. New teams will be considered to be aligned to the league where they play their first tournament, if the coaches don't announce a different home league for their teams.
Coaches who aren't signed up with any of the participating or associated leagues but would like to play in the B.B.A.T.T.L. Tournament Circuit, have to sign up with one of the participating league's forums and contact the respective league commissioner how to join B.B.A.T.T.L.
Teams are not allowed to play any match outside of their home league and the B.B.A.T.T.L. tournaments.

Tournaments

Every participating league is free to organize as many tournaments for the B.B.A.T.T.L. Tournament Circuit as they want. Format and rules of the tournaments are on one's own authority, but must be approved by BBATTL Management before being announced. Please submit applications to thegloater, krampus or Jon.
Tournaments can be found here.

The above tournaments are considered as B.B.A.T.T.L. minors. In addition, B.B.A.T.T.L. will organize four Major tournaments, one by each founding league. These are:

TBC (GOBBLN)
The Crimson Road (SvS)
The Red Duke's Gang Bang Ball (Fun League)
Ascension (RMBBL)

B.B.A.T.T.L. Rules

Although the specific tournament rules are in the league's own authority there are few B.B.A.T.T.L. rules valid for all tournaments.

  1. Don't play any matches outside the B.B.A.T.T.L. tournaments or the participating/associated leagues with teams joining B.B.A.T.T.L. tourneys. Not following this rule will result in disqualification of the team. The coach might be added to the B.B.A.T.T.L. black list, which will be forwarded to all participating leagues.
  2. Don't abandon matches at B.B.A.T.T.L. tournaments. Of course real life emergencies are exempted form this rule.
  3. Don't leave B.B.A.T.T.L. tournaments without notifying the tournament management and/or without acceptable reasons. You are expected to complete all of your matches. It might result in being added to the B.B.A.T.T.L. black list.
  4. Don't complain about opponent's play style as long as it is covered by the rules. Three of the B.B.A.T.T.L. founding leagues, FunLeague, RMBBL, and SvS, are fluff heavy leagues encouraging their coaches to role-play their teams and to write match reports and background stories. Same is true for B.B.A.T.T.L. You therefore might face teams ignoring the ball, fouling every turn beyond tactical sense, and/or finishing every match with a nice turn-16 gang foul. This is totally accepted.
  5. Have fun.
